It was obviously covered, but while my wife was sitting at the service department there were two other minivan owners getting them replaced as well. I just purchased a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country with 80 miles on it and we had to replace the rotors and break pads. We have handled numerous brake claims regarding these vehicles. Has anyone received any satisfaction from anyone at Chrysler or any other organization? I’m about to replace my pads and rotors for about the 4th time in only 54,000 miles. Just very frustrated with this whole braking problem with my 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. This is ridiculous………Chrysler clearly knows there is a problem – they issued an automatic extended warranty on the front braking system – so all I have to pay is a deductible – I AGREE – SHAME ON YOU CHRYSLER…….I was so proud to have purchased an American made car – but am so ashamed that the product we are putting out is so CHEAP it doesn’t even last 15,000 miles…….SHAME ON YOU!

Shame on you Chrysler this situation is unacceptableĢ010 Chrysler Town and Country left over (purchased 02/2011) with 14,000 miles on it today – replaced front rotors today and they tell me they need to replace the rears as well – but want to charge me $500+. and the vehicle was undriveable for any extended length of time. Back brakes ran in excess of 600 degrees F.

Don’t know if anyone else is having this problem – I heep getting what I call a clunk and the dealer called a click in the front drivers wheel – turned out have to replace the axel – Are you kidding me, this van is not even 5 years old with extremely LOW miles….Ģ009 Chrysler Town & Country with 24,000 miles.

In June 2010 (24,000 miles) I had to have new front brakes and rotors put on, in December 2011 I had to have new rear brakes but on….now just last week I had to put new front brakes AGAIN got only a little over 7,000 miles out of them and had to have the rotors machined. If this wasnt an issue then why are most of us owners having brake issues so early on in the life of this vehicle? JUST IS NOT RIGHT!!! Brakes should be a recall as they do not last at all. Now I am being told by the Chrysler dealer that I need to pay $850 for front and rear brake replacement including rotors again.įront and rears replaced at 20,000 kms!! INSANE!!! Rears got so hot you could not touch the rim. Chysler has a recall or service bulletin at the time and refunded part of the cost. The first time the front brakes needed replacement was at about 24,000 miles. We now have to replace the front brakes including rotors and pads for the 3rd time and ther rear brakes for the second time with only 62000 miles on the car.Įach time we have been told that the rotors can not be cut even though they have never been cut.
